Challenge / Task
- Kingsway Christian School is continually looking to update and modernize their facility to grow enrollment, and recently that included the addition of a STEM lab. The school requested two different types of flooring for each side of the room – a hard surface on the lab/experiment side that would make it easy to see electronic parts that were dropped, then carpet for the classroom side.
Solution
- We recommended a high-gloss epoxy in a light color for lab side of the room and patterned carpet tiles for the classroom portion. We were able to use surplus carpeting to cut the project costs, delivering a project that was on time and under budget for this private school.
