Challenge / Task
- The hospital’s operating rooms previously had rubber flooring, which were in constant need of repair.
Solution
- We recommended and installed terrazzo tiles instead, a very low-maintenance product that will not bubble or peel and is not prone to moisture damage like rubber flooring. We have worked around the hospital’s busy schedule, understanding that shutting down all the operating rooms at once was not an option. Instead, we’ve completed one room at a time to quickly get each back in use.
