The State Advocacy Leader Group is a new initiative of the ISSA, created to uplift the ISSA’s legislative efforts. Each state will have two State Advocacy Leaders, one from a building service contractor like Jack Laurie Cleaning Services, and one from a manufacturer or distributor. The group will meet periodically with the like-minded goal of lobbying local, state, and federal leaders on ISSA’s agenda in order to better the cleaning community and business.
About Alan
Through his role as Director of Operations for Jack Laurie Cleaning Services, Alan leads all operations in both our Fort Wayne and Indianapolis locations. He is responsible for maintaining our unmatched level of customer satisfaction, staff training and development, and vendor relationships. Before joining the Jack Laurie family in 2022, Alan served as the National Director of Operations in the retail construction industry, where he was responsible for 14 different locations across the country. He brings extensive experience in operations management and floor care.
Alan’s passion for advancing the cleaning industry and his commitment to ensuring high standards of health and safety in the community inspired him to serve as an ISSA State Advocacy Leader. He strives to make a meaningful difference by influencing policies and advocating for the interests of the cleaning industry.

During his role as an ISSA State Advocacy Leader, Alan will be engaging with policymakers and connecting industry stakeholders. He will be building relationships with government officials, participating in advocacy events, and educating the community.
